One website (WP based) I am working on uses affiliate links from Viglink and Affiliate Window.
I have installed the Simple URLs plugin so that I can use nice looking URLs, but when a user clicks on it the address bar would show the original affiliate link in the browser for like a second before redirecting to the merchant's website.
Is there anyway of hiding that affiliate link URL, or at least showing a page that says something like "redirecting you to xyz merchant, please wait..."?
