I own a few affiliate blogs but I am unsure on how to increase conversions and how my content should be on those blogs. How aggressive should I be with my sales pitch/review/affiliate links?

Should I talk to them like a friend or like and authority? Self testimonial? etc

I am targeting 3-4 health products in my niche, essentially a condition.

Don't you have any analytic tool to evaluate your blogs' performance? Data mining is great for improving results, but you do need data first - then you can see what works best and what should be omitted.

Like everyone else said, it really depends on your audience and product. In general, though, for a health condition type product I think a more informal, friendly style tends to work better. If you can commiserate with others who suffer from the problem, then recommend a solution that works for you, you'll probably get better conversions than a more formal, authoritative style. The people searching for a solution probably got the authoritative treatment from a doctor and they're still looking, so they will be turned off by the same tone from you.

Make your link to your affiliate product more enticing or time-limited.

Basically, the discussion has now turned into general FAQ :)
The question is just to broad to cover - do your research and narrow the question down.
Take it this way - the better traffic is targeted, the higher the conversion. The same rules applies here: the narrower the question, the better solution you're to receive ;)
