Affiliate Blogs - How To Increase Conversions??

I own a few affiliate blogs but I am unsure on how to increase conversions and how my content should be on those blogs. How aggressive should I be with my sales pitch/review/affiliate links?

Should I talk to them like a friend or like and authority? Self testimonial? etc

I am targeting 3-4 health products in my niche, essentially a condition.

conversion depends on sales pitch and its structure.. with quality traffic offcourse!

Don't you have any analytic tool to evaluate your blogs' performance? Data mining is great for improving results, but you do need data first - then you can see what works best and what should be omitted.

Like everyone else said, it really depends on your audience and product. In general, though, for a health condition type product I think a more informal, friendly style tends to work better. If you can commiserate with others who suffer from the problem, then recommend a solution that works for you, you'll probably get better conversions than a more formal, authoritative style. The people searching for a solution probably got the authoritative treatment from a doctor and they're still looking, so they will be turned off by the same tone from you.

Basically, the discussion has now turned into general FAQ
The question is just to broad to cover - do your research and narrow the question down.
Take it this way - the better traffic is targeted, the higher the conversion. The same rules applies here: the narrower the question, the better solution you're to receive

testimonials do help a lot and you can get them cheap on Fiverr, I am in process of doing what I just mentioned.
