Affilate Redirects?

shapeshift3r · Mar 29, 2009

Hey guys.
I have a few ebooks with affilate links and I want traffic to look like it came from my site instead of my ebook. How could I do this?

I know the idea is "redirects" but truthfully, I have no idea how to implement one.

lil' help?

An easy way would be:

Put up a quick Wordpress-blog (use Fantastico if your hosting has it)

Put some nice related content on it (just scrape it from somewhere)

Make some text anchors with your aff.link or put up some banners with your aff.link.
Don't use any code from the merchant cause that might enable them to track your traffic.
Only take the banners from their site and make them clickable with your link.

Use a Wordpress plug called CPA-Redirector. It's free and on this board. Do a search for it. Read the thread on how to use it.
Do a referrer check by putting

Code:

my-i-p.com

as the redirect.

Replace the links in your ebooks with the ones needed for CPA-redirector to push visitors through your site to the merchant.

Hope this isn't too tech but if so just post your questions.
Redirecting to merchants or affiliates has no room for mistakes.
