Affilate Links on Facebook allowed?

Just wondering if facebook allow you to post affiliate links through the ads section linking directly to a cb product or through like a bitly link. I have read elsewhere that some people direct the adds to a squeeze page which then goes to the affilate link but im not 100% sure how this works. Is the page just copied and you have the checkout button link to the items checkout button? Sorry if this is confusing, but basically, is using fb ads for affiliate links viable?

It's fine but if you read the T's & C's they only allow it if you cloak it and blank referrer.

What are you trying to promote? You can either have a simple Squeeze Page where you focus on capturing their emails before sending them to the offer OR you can have a landing page where you presell the offer. A landing page is always a good idea for most offers. Your best bet would be to get a spy tool like Social Ads Ninja and try to find LPs for similar products and rip them and modify to suit your offer

They allow it, but just to be safe I used a custom landing page and after I got accepted I redirected the domain to the affiliate offer.

That must been a tricky job because Facebook is like a boss when beating a spam.
