Affect of multiple links from same web 2.0 site

Hi BHW,

Just wondering, does it have any affect if I have multiple links from the same Web 2.0 links?

For example, my money site is www.moneysite.com

Should I make my web 2.0 URL either of the following?
www.howtomakemoney.tumblr.com OR
www.moneysite.tumblr.com - (brand)

Or should I do both? Does it matter if it's branded or not? All content will be quality and manual. Anyone have any tips on this?

Branding in another thing.That's up to you really.If your site is promoting money making ,then you are good of having that same keyword in your web 2 url.

howtomakemoney.tumblr.com would be a good option to go with since you will be able to target your keyword specific keywords. Brand related keywords wont make much difference.

For your web2.0 sites, you should try to keep them keyword specific like howtomakemoney.tumblr.com. You can always post articles with branded links back to your money site on them if that is what you are looking for.

I wouldn't want more than a few each linking from blogger, Tumblr or similar web 2.0 sites. For instance, if you were thinking of creating 50 or 100 Tumblr blogs, all linking back to your money site, that's just suspicious looking. And, Google will pick up on anything that seems out of place. Is it realistic to think that in a natural/organic backlinking situation that 50 Tumblr blogs would be linking back to your site? If not, then diversify it by adding other web 2.0 properties to your backlinking profile.
