Hi there,

I have a question regarding AdWords.
I found a keyword which I want to use for my ads.
The suggested average bid is 1,37 Euro but when I add it to my plan to set the bid range, Google doesn't show me the possible visits/clicks with that range.
The competition is low and no one is buying ads for this keyword.
Does it mean, that I probably will pay just few cents?

When there is no competition, you will be paying few cents, but see first if your ad is running for that keyword and whether the keyword is accepted in google?

because for that kind of bid, there must be definetly competition.

How I can see whether the keyword is accepted by Google? I need to run the campgain first, right?
Well, this is a keyword which got a massive boom in the last months. In the last 6 months the searches went from 100-200 to 40000.
I saw just one or two competitors in the ads but the keyword is not related to the service which the competitor is offering. The ad is just showing because it's a longtail keyword and one of the keywords matches his service.

You need to run the campaign and create keywords, and see if you can run for the keyword. Well if your keyword doesn't get approved, that means it is not eligible to run on google.

You could always bid lower and wait.

In no means are you forced to go at the standard rate.. Otherwise find a lower grade network and overfill volume if you're worried.

Just set up the campaign/ads/keyword and set the bid low. Wait a day or so and just monitor the traffic. If you aren't getting any impressions or your average position is too low, raise the bid a little each time.

Hey,
I have a new question for you guys.
Is it allowed to have a simple good landig page about one single product with an affiliate link on it?
Or do I need a website with more content about the whole topic?

Best regards

Normally Google say they don't accept a landing page where the only purpose is to redirect the users to a different url. But test it because in some niches you can see advertisers doing it (like product comparison sites)

You have to run it to see. I usually enter a keyword with a bid of 5 cents and get metrics and make my bid decision once I have full Google data. But beware believing Google's click estimates, in my experience its usually off anyway.
