adwords mobile advertising?

Hellow was just wondering if any1 is using adwords and promoting mobile offers? Any success? I have heard that admob is only for app traffic now, so they moved the traffic to adwords. Love to get your input also any one having success with mobile?

I used admob to promote android app, and the banner ads were running on sites.

I'm still looking for a good tutorial on mobile banner ads. Can anyone recommend one?

You'll get very high CTR (or many clicks respectively) but the conversions are way lower than in desktop ads. I guess you should focus on tablets+desktop and try mobile to see how well it performs.

one thing I noticed is the way I incidentally clicked the mobile ads while playing mobile games. I didnt want any of them and most of the clicks happened by mistake. I don't want to be that advertiser whose ad ended up in some games which creates alot of clicks with no conversion.

i used adwords, its like admob before but i didnt like it, cause its too broad and money goes away to quick, really bad response cause its not as targeted as they say
