Hey guys.
For the past two months I’ve been running successful AdWords campaigns for local businesses. I pretty much target KWs, take people to a landing page, explain our services, and get phone calls. I’ve learned a lot about landing pages, copy, and marketing in general.
Since I’m pretty confident with my skills, I’d like to try some Affiliate Marketing using the same setup:
1) They search.
2) They get taken to an informative landing page that provides value and persuades them to buy.
3) I link out to the merchant.
This is okay and “legal” for all parties involved right? I’m not direct linking to the checkout page. I’m taking them to a lander and providing them with the information and reassurance they need to follow through with their purchase... I would assume it’s okay to do this.
Can I use a lander site like UnBounce? Or should I just register a WordPress site and make all my landers on there?
