Adwords for video question

Hello, I have set up adwords for video campaign and about 12 hours ago it got a new status : Serving approved

I have set daily budget to $12 per day and after about an hour after status change I immediately got ~5k views in one minute, it dramatically dropped during the next hour and I am not getting any more views now. I am checking adwords account and in "all video campaigns" section I see my video as serving approved but no stats are being showed or updated. It is still zeros everywhere.

Was my traffic from adwords actually? It would make no sense because I would expect about 1k views max for this budged When do the adwords stats starts updating or when do adwords actually start sending traffic after status update?

Wherever I read online it says the data usually takes about 3hours max to update I am here at more than 12hours still zeros everywhere.. But where the heck the views came from? And in sucha strange manner? 5k in one minute? D

You can check youtube analytics to see where the views came from.

If I remember correctly, adwords should have an option to spread the views throughout the day but it might be mixing it up with some other network.

Well, it's my best bet now.. To wait for YT analytics to update and see where the hell did it come from. Just it takes so long to update, too impatient to wait 2 days it's still strane that adwords not showing any stats... that's why I came here to ask if the traffic comes immediately after "approved serving" status has been given.. maybe I have to wait a little bit.

What you wanna do is to set your graph is Adwords to "Yesterday" or "Today" instead of last 7 days. That way, you will be able to see the updated stats.

I had the same issue a while back but when I changed the viewing of the stats, I was able to see it.
