As you know, Adwords has banned a tonne of accounts lately without providing reason. I had my first account banned about 2 months ago. I recently got back online by using different details... computer, ip, business name, address, payment details, domain, the works.

My ads were running fine for a few days and then bam... all keywords are now showing "ads rarely show to low quality score".

I know this isn't a quality score issue. I'm pretty sure this is their way of saying your account is banned without actually telling me that till I send them an email to ask what's going on. And they never send a proper response anyway, just some BS template.

I think that my account was banned using some automated process because it appears as if the ads all were hit as soon as the clock ticked over midnight. So they're running fine one minute and then bam... they stop.

    What could trigger this?

When I first submitted the new ads my account got reviewed and everything was fine.

I'm advertising a legitimate business opportunity and provide full contact details, terms, disclaimer, privacy and ssl.

What I don't get is that I'm still seeing ads for obvious scam websites on the exact same keywords that I was using.

Can anyone tell me why this happened and how I can avoid it happening again?

    Thanks

Same thing happened to me since yesterday...everything was fine for months, campaigns running smoothly...and then yesterday everything "froze"...no more impressions, no more clicks...al the keywords in all the campaigns show "Rarely shown due to low quality score"...reason: "landing page quality: Poor". Quality score: 1/10.

Does any one know what to do in this situation?

Yeah, this isnt good. I havent advertised anything with adwords in ages. Finally got together a new campaign for a new website and was using up $50 left in my account.

My score when it started was 7/10 so I know that wasnt the problem. I had 82 impressions over 1 1/2 days for very targeted keywords then outta nowhere they just stopped running.

Annoying thing is other ads are still running for the same keywords!

I used to promote rebills at the end of the hype and got away with it. I have never had a letter from them either. The only thing I could find on it was out of ten points it said:

"The keyword you used to search for your ad is not performing well and has become inactive for search."

The ten points that I seen this at is is an adwords blogspot from 2007. I did have a link for it but I cant get hiderefer to hide it so Ive taken it out.

    This is really annoying!

The person that said that they are STILL getting impressions. That means they didn't banned you. If you they banned you, or suspended you you would get 100% no impressions.

If you like, I have a way to fix your QUALITY SCORE so that it can go back up to a 7 or 8.

If you want me to do this for you just PM ME.

Once google drop the quality score of keywords.. you can't use that keywords in campaign in adowrds account. You need to get new domain name and adwords account.

    good luck

Looks like your domain is banned, not your account. Try to change your destination URL. It helped me.

Yes, try a new domain first. Or just send traffic to any well established domain or blog to test if your account is suspended.

I love the way Adwords don't bother to tell you that your account is suspended (banned for life).

They just wait for you to contact them and then they give you some BS about low quality score.

I've tried opening numerous accounts with Entropay virtual cards, different mailing
    address, domains, the works.

I guess they are connecting all the accounts some way.

Why would they want to tell you.

They are happy to keep taking your money.

What I dont get is why Google actually cares who is advertising as long as the product is legal and the business legit. I can get shutting down something that is a scam, but not sure on the mass bannings.

My guess is major advertisers have started to really rip G a new one for junk traffic they pay a lot for, so Google is trying to weed what appears to be junk competitors so that the keyword bids come down.

If you think about it, Google has not innovated anything in almost 10 years in advertising = its the same text boxes and same static areas as there have been forever. The bidding for keywords was actually innovated by Overture I believe (not sure here, but my memory thinks so).
