Adwords Account Banned

LOL... I got my first AdWords suspended today :)

My question is if I link to a page on my domain that says "You will be redirected in a moment", then I take them to ClickBank, does that work any better? Will they eventually ban the domain?

Any advice much appreciated! :)

if the lander has any chance of leading to a clickbank hoplink,
the adwords account runs high risk of getting banned by the adwords
editorial team that probably make x10 less then you..
 
I was banned because (according to Google) of campaigns I ran back in 2007 when first starting on Adwords. And there were no affiliate links or anything, so...?

I think Adwords is trying to target the big players only...
 
I had several accounts with Google and they have all been banned. I tried to open another account and got stealthy about it, even did a remote desktop situation into a computer in another state in order to hide my IP address, didn't work.

I masked my identity in everyway possible and still got suspended before the account could be activated. I think one of two things happened. I used a different URL, different website, but I used the same content from a site that was associated with a google account that was banned. I believe google either traced back and found the duplicate content or they banned me based just on the website.

I make some of my money through adsense, but guess what, google doesn't want you to advertise a site that has adsense on it. I think any site that has adsense on it is getting banned or will get banned.

I searched google for a number of keywords in my niche and found that all sites that were being promoted were virtually ad free and were selling a verifiable product or service. I did not see one site with adsense on it.

What ticks me off is that google made the adsense product but doesn't want you to make money on it. Just so you know, my sites always contained up to date valid information that people could use and did use. I did not have a site that was gimicky or of poor quality, but alas it just doesn't matter.
 
From what I've researched lately, there's a chance that Google didn't necessarily visually analyze your content...but may have the ability to identify the same affiliate link. Of course, I don't exactly know your situation.

However, it makes you consider the importance of, for example, using htaccess redirect to go to your affiliate offer.

BrainHost. I've been KILLING it with them recently. I have an "in" with them, as well, if you need an affiliate page set up.

To get remove banned from adwords you must be contact with webmaster & send reconsideration request to removed this banned!
 
Would love to learn more...feel free to PMme. I saw they offer 75% commission on sales. Is that initial sale only or future renewals as well?

1) never direct link to any affiliate offer
2) i never put any affiliate links on landing pages
3) no re-directs
4) no adsense on landing page

Then you'll be fine.
 
I think that's what it is.

You have to follow the rules for adsense, but treat it like the bitch that it is.

It shouldn't make up more than 1/4 of your revenue - according to one sports radio web site owner I met recently at the pub.

It makes sense. Spread eggs into multiple baskets. Focus on a product or subscription, build fresh & relevant content, create backlinks, be careful how you sell other things in conjunction with Adsense on a page.

Some thoughts.

This doesn't make sense. So if you use adwords, you can't have adsense or affiliate links on the landing page? Whats the use of promoting it then? They only allow you to have a landing page with no marketing whatsoever? Most of my competitors have landing pages to redirect urls...

Just do some Google searches and look at your competition. You will see that almost everyone has affiliate links...they just creatively have the link point to an internal site and use php to redirect upon click.

The most important key to Adwords is having some genuine, good content as well as that which you are selling.

It totally makes sense if you are selling your own product and/or collecting opt-ins.
