Adword Traffics Goes Somewhere While Actual Link Goes...

not going to out anything..but i saw this recently on adwords...

it was a adword link to an offer which was http://www.AAA.com

if you were to click on the adword link...it would redirect to http://www.BBB.com and then redirect to the offer.

Now, if you took the actual url (http://www.AAA.com) and paste it into your URL bar in your browser, it would just redirect to the offer with no affiliate link.

so click on adword, get redirected and then to the offer. if you manually type or paste in the url, it goes directly to the offer with no affiliate id or anything.

i'm assuming it's cloaking but I don't know exactly how? if anyone can point me into the right direction...

It obviously does it based on the referrer URL. If it is coming from Google, then it redirects one way. If it is a direct type then it redirects another. This is pretty simple actually.

thanks for the info..hopefully that points me to the right direction...i'll see what i can dig up. but am i looking for a paid script or just actual coding i can do myself (like double-meta refresh stuff).
