AdWord help for a school

Hello, I am a US Peace Corps Volunteer at a The Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University in the Philippines. Sorry, I can't post a www yet.

I am an IT teacher here and have been working to improve our web presence, website and distance learning system.
One of the major requests from the other IT professors is a lack of linkages to foreign institutions. As we are a provincial university, it is hard for us to compete and get noticed amid the large schools in the capital/private schools.

I have been thinking that using AdWords, we can try to advertise ourselves and hopefully get noticed more.
The problem is $$$; trying to get advertising money from the admin is near impossible and the web-host we signed up with won't give us a credit.
I see that lots of people give our vouchers to other members and was hoping someone might share a voucher with me so I can test my idea out.
If it's successful I can take the results to the admin when asking for a little budget.

To be honest man, a voucher won't get you enough money to really make a difference. Vouchers are just tools that ad networks use to get you in the door and start getting familiar with their platform.


I'm positive that can give you a $100 adwords voucher with no problems though. My idea is that you work on building a campaign, and show some potential to your admin so that you can get more money to invest.

I guess I should clarify... I don't expect $100 to get any actually linkages set up but, what I was hoping for is that I'll get some statistics from it so I can target it better.

Then hopefully I can take the data and clicks info to places like the Rotary club, the admin, and alumni for more money to keep it going.

Hummm seguro, pero I have a lot of other work too... this way sounds cheaper/more effective in the long run but a lot more work?

Put the students in work if they know any english. Make it project or something.

I would suggest utilizing Facebook advertising first; it tends to be cheaper and more targeted, but if you want to stay with Adwords I suggest just doing your research on BHW and looking through the Member Downloads section for guides.
