I hate self promoting but your title confused me ...

Checkout my signature if you are looking for expired domains .

I will be posting a thread for beta testers / reviewers later today for a new software I have in the works that sounds like it will be exactly what you want.

If you would like to give it a try let me know.

The software itself is actually virtually finished, I am just finishing up the support materials to help people use it and could do with some users to put it through the wringer before launch.

With the two replies above, godaddy auctions also has some cheap domains. Check it out too.

You gotta learn all the fancy tricks and shit. I know people will scrape authority domains for broken links then go through all the domains to see which ones are good. But since this is such a valuable asset (domain mining) I'd imagine many of the pros have custom made software to help them. Or maybe they just use scrapebox and a combination of other tools.

The way I honestly see it is like this. It takes time to get good at anything. I've seen guys jump right into buying expired domains and those guys will need to buy / pay for / host hundreds of shitty domains cause they don't really know what they're doing. They might be able to rank with those domains but since their skills are weak, they're not saving much money. In fact, doing it yourself early on you'll probably waste more money as opposed to just paying an experienced broker.

So right now, I'm buying domains from brokers on here and looking for giveaways. Like I just ordered 10 domains from hardcore in my sig. The domains he found me were AWESOME. And I'd much rather pay $50 / domain than need 10xs the amount of domains and hosting just cause I suck at finding good domains. And keep in mind, I'm NOT being paid for his sig. I promote it cause I'm trying to get on his good side lol. I see experienced domain miners as a very valuable asset so it makes sense to kiss some ass if you know what I mean. And aside from my own selfish reasons he's a very cool and helpful guy.

I also plan on finding some on my own. But not till after I buy 20-25 domains from pro's, see how they work, then learn how to model what they're doing. Otherwise I'll be spending my money very inefficiently. Like the 10 domains he gave me, I would have probably needed 100 weaker, much shittier domains (to match their strength) and months and months of time just to find them. So $500 a batch may sound expensive but in the long run I feel like I'm saving heaps of money and time.

Did you tried GoDaddy.com or namecheap.com you can find lots of good expired here. But i don't think whether we can find domain which is going to expired soon. But not sure about this :p

godaddy auctions always worked for me. It's very simple and you can find some domains at very affordable prices.

If you are looking for a domain for your money site, look for domains that have back links from the same niche that you are interested in.

The best way to do that is to check the Topical Trust Flow for the category

Go to the link below and sort by "Trust Flow". Look at the numbers under the domain name. Numbers in the box that is "bright green" in color will tell you the value of the back links from websites in the News niche. (mouse over the number and you will see the Niche)

If you want to check out other niches you can check them out here - https://www.domcop.com/majestic-seo-topical-trust-flow-categories

If you are willing to spend a decent amount money and not spend too much time, then I'd suggest finding a domain in the Godaddy auctions. If you are short on cash, go with back ordering the domain.

If you want more information on what Topical Trust Flow means check out https://blog.majestic.com/development/topicaltrustflow/

Hope that helps

Niki

P.S. Disclaimer - I work for DomCop

You can check the quality by watching the TF/CF ratio. If CF is 1.8 times bigger than TF then there is a good chance that the domain is spammed. A good domain has TF/CF ratio close to 1.

Godaddy auctions would be your answer but sellers on BHW should also provide you with some quick solutions.

When you buy one of these expired domains, do you 301 it or do you attempt to re-create the old website and then just add a link?

I hear this again and again, at different places from different people. I wonder, who was the first one who started this nonsense? And why. Because there are LOT of domains which have TF much higher, even twice and more, than CF. But people still say TF/CF limit is 1.

It's not a nonsense. This "theory" comes from a study Majestic did. I don't have a link but if you google it you will surely find it.

If TF is 2x higher then it means the site is super reputable (has awesome links) but the number of links isn't that huge. If CF is 2x higher than TF then it means the site has a lot of links to it but they aren't that reputable links.

There are no absolute truths out there but the 1.8x theory comes from statistics provided by Majestic.

If you don't mind may i suggest you take a look at: magicdomains - for quality spam free expired domains. - Saves a lot of time doing it yourself.
