    Hello All,

I am sorry to post a newbies question here. I am thinking about to purchase a domain for my classifieds website. I purchased akijiji and thinking about to have name "A KIJIJI". Would that effect any ebay or kijiji copy writes ? . I know it will not if the name will be "AKIJIJI" bit confused about space in cheracters as "A" and "KIJIJI". Need Suggestions if I am on Right track or not.

    Thanks in Advance. ;)

It does, that's brandjacking. Just because you change one letter doesn't make it OK - especially if you're planning to go for the same exact niche as well... Very bad idea.

If it's the same niche, you could do something like akijijifans or something similar. Otherwise, you'd better come up with one hell of an unrelated acronym, and market other & very different products.

No. Don't proceed with that domain name. You gotta be careful.

Why not something easy to remember like 'lotusmonkey' or 'squatpot' or 'flinky32'

Do something short, sweet and easy to remember. Like my terrible examples.

Your existing domain name will be subject to Cybersquatting.

Try and come up with an easy to remember, brand-able and short name.
