Advices on VPS

Hi There,

I never used a VPS before and I am looking for one with low configuration Debian 8 x64 512Gb Ram.
OVH looks good and cheap compared to other offers, do you think it's ok to use it ?
I only need it to set up a kind of vpn.
and last question is there any offer for free trial at least 7 days , to test if what I want to do actually works ?

don't think you will find any provider that gives our free trials on web hosting.

If its your first time using a VPS your better option may be to go with a managed vps plan
 
Right, not see any free trial around, not sure I need managed VPS, as I only want to set up a vpn on it and I have complete tutorial

And why you don't go with VPN provider? Is cheaper and plug&play .

If there is specific reason give us more info :)

Yes , more info is that I want to use my mobile phone Ip as VPN when I leave my country to use it with paypal. I have to leave my country every 3 months and sometimes more
