I have 2 online shops: a cosmetic one in my native language (not english) and one in english with a very talented friend's paintings.
They both are made on wordpress, using eshop plugin. The cosmetic online shop has lot of information because I also post beaty advices and each cosmetic product has it's descripton, the paintings shop doesn't have any text, beside the painting pictures, sizes, prices.
If for the cosmetic shop the competition is not that big, for paintings, well..is HUGE

How must I promote them both?
What would be the steps I should take to promote each?
What softwares would be good for me to use?
What advices do you have?
I am confused and really don't know where to start and which path to take, considering also the fact that I do not want to harm my sites.
