If it's one thing that bugs me the most about the recent surge in Crypto is that two years ago I had been watching hundreds of videos about BTC mining, really interested in it when I decided that mining it was a waste of time and that I should just use Bitcoins for payments.

I don't want to make that mistake again.

I'm not the most knowledgeable on the subject, so I'm after a little advice. I've seen that all of the popular AMD GPU's have gone out of stock, due to a sudden surge in people mining coins, meaning that if I want to go down the RX 580 route I'll have to wait just under two months.

I also understand that ETH may soon become PoS (Meaning it can't be GPU-mined) which is why I've also been looking at GTX cards for mining Zcash.

Anyway, I'm torn between two graphics cards:

4GB Sapphire Radeon RX 580 PULSE - £250/ $330 - PreOrder for 31'st August.

Cost Per Rig: £2000/ $2635
Estimated Monthly Profit: ZEC - $290. ETH - $520

Asus GeForce GTX 1080 Turbo 8GB - £495/ $650 - Availible now.

Cost Per Rig: £3500/ $4600
Estimated Monthly Profit: ZEC - $760. ETH - $380

Remember that those prices are all wild estimates based on the current coin price/ difficulty and could vary massively.

I'm looking to get a few rigs and I'm more concerned about daily earnings as opposed to ROI.

I know that @aptechfsd's into mining, and has shared his RX 480 set-up before.

Which of the two - or other - do you think I should purchase?
