I've 'hired' people many times though companies like Elance but I'm looking in to hiring a 'real' employee.
I'd like to 1099 someone but from the research I've done I believe I'd have to hire someone as an employee (W2).
Does anyone have any resources on this process?
Like paying them? -- withholding tax and all of that "fun" stuff? Can I sign up for Quickbooks and they'll handle most of this? Or ADP?
