Advice: Purchasing Trademark domains

I'm not sure if this is what you're asking, but I used to register domains with brand names in them back when EMDs were a major factor in SEO and I wanted to target search queries related to that brand.
An example would be if I were building an affiliate website that reviewed Xbox video games, I would register a domain such as topxboxgamereviews.com
Occasionally I would have the brand owners email me and ask me to take the sites down. If I didn't do it, they would file an official complaint with the registrar or hosting company and then it would get shut down by them.
So in order to avoid this, I started registering all of my domains with internetbs.net (they're located in the Bahamas and don't give a shit about US law), and I would also use offshore hosting accounts who also didn't have to comply with the US.
Once I implemented the offshore registrar and hosting services, I never got anymore sites shut down for TM infringement. I would still sometimes have the brand owners contact me, but I just ignored them since the sites were now impervious to US law.
I still use internetbs.net to this day; not for the offshore protection necessarily, but because they are one of the cheapest registrars I have found. All of their .com, .net, and .org domains are around $10 or less, and they throw in WHOIS protection 100% for free.

i doubt youd be able to do that cause most of the time they get immidietaly snapped, i managed to find a nike.po.co (something like that) still trash tho, im unsure what you mean but thats a very good tool to find expired domains or to be expired domains to backorder
