Advice please

Hello there. Excuse me if this is not the correct sub-forum, it is where my post seemed to fit the most. I have one question. The thing is... I got fired from my software developer job. Economy is pretty bad here in Spain and also teamwork is not my best skill, I prefer to work alone... so I was thinking of doing something on my own over the internet. I'm pretty good at programming, and I have my university degree and all... but I don't know what or how or where to begin. I have some ideas for websites, Android apps... etc.. I know how to make them, but... what is the best? how do I promote them? where to start?. Lots of questions. I don't want to get rich or anything. I do lol, but what I am looking for now is just a method to slowly apply my tech skills and my time on something, in such a way that I can eat and rent a house in the long term with the income I get from it. Any advice and opinions are very appreciated

You can always try freelancing, you might even find some partners for a full time job.

If you are a quality programmer, you can work something with that, such as creating and selling your own android app, but I think that is a longterm project. For now, programmer have big demand with reasonable pay, find a client who will work for long term. They will pay shit for a fast and reliable programmer. Try Elance, oDesk, Freelancer.

Also try peopleperhour, fiverr for small jobs to get experience with working for clients and get your foot in the door for bigger jobs. Getting feedback and reviews for freelancing is the key to winning the jobs.
