Advice on setting up wix related website

Hi All,

One of my friend wants to start a free website builder website that is quite related to wix and weebly.

Here he wants to go a bit different, he is saying that wix and weebly provides free websites on its own subdomain namely abc.wix.com but he is saying that he will provide a free domain to all of those who create a free website through his website builder.

After that he will add adsense to all the websites created freely.

I want to ask you guys, will it be feasible to build such a system and what will take it to be a successful venture ?

Pretty good idea of having others make a site and publish adsense ads on there on your behalf crafty guy!

but it will not be that easy to bring it to the level of wix and weebly.

not even having your own domain + WIX advertisement in your footer is quite f'd up.
you know the budget to run your own site with those services is seriously low right?
