Advice on repurposing old/ expired domains

I just bought a couple of used domains having made sure that it has not been previously spammed etc. and with highish authority, anywhere from 11 - 45 DAs

I won't be using these domains for PBNs or anything. My intention is to use and build on the existing content (obviously making sure it is unique first) and then building on them as affilate sites but more as an informative site that also has adsense/ affiliate links.

So my question is:

1. Now that I have uploaded the original content of the website, how long should I wait before expecting google to recrawl and reindex it ? I see some folks here suggest that the domain should be resubmitted to google to have it recrawled ?

2. One of the domains I bought basically has all its pages in .aspx instead of html. It has a lot of high authority sites pointing to it but the link that they are point to ends with the aspx. But when when I click on the link, it goes to the html page with no problems.

2.a) My question is will this be fine or should I be trying to change all these html pages into aspx? Will it be losing link juice if i decide to let it redirect from aspx to html or it doesn't matter? My plan for this site is to let it sit maybe for a month or 2 and redesigning the whole site but keeping the content the same (as long as it hasn't been plagarised). Once I rebuild it in wordpress, the links will be different.

2.b) Should I keep the old links that these high authority sites such as BBC etc. exactly the same down to the extensions and then have it redirect to the new version of the same content ?

1. Yes, submit your sitemap in GSC to get it indexed asap.
2. a) If the aspx pages are correctly redirecting to the html versions, that's fine. If you change the site structure, just test your redirects again.
b) Just check that the backlinks are redirected to relevant pages, there's no need to preserve the old site architecture if you have the right redirects.

Just a tip. Once you set up the redirects, create a sitemap of old URLs and upload them to GSC. It will significantly speed up the process of Google recrawling the old URLs and recognizing the redirects.

I assume as @seocrab suggested, the aspx website being redirected automatically into the html version (all the content was directly saved from WBM so the software did all the conversion for me that it is fine and I won't be losing link juice?

Just wondering - currently a few of my sites are hosted by cloakhosting. I noticed that in order for me to submit to GSC, I need to first verify ownership. Would google see my site as being "dodgy" if I am using a cloaking hoster and less likely to reindex my site or it doesn't matter? I am asking this because I need to verify using the DNS TXT method which a video on youtube says that I need to do this from my hosting account and not my domain registra.

Also, I see a lot of people here recommend registring new GMail accounts before logging on to resubmit websites into GSC - is this only the case if I am planning to use spun/ spammy unreadable content i.e. PBNs, or is it just good practice in general even if I am not planning on doing PBNs? All sites have been restored from the Way Back Machine into readable quality content.

Finally, I have about 30 or something sites so would it be a bad idea if I use my own google account to submit it into the GSC ? I guess it might make more sense for me to have a couple of disposable google accounts which I can then have maybe 1 or 2 websites associated with each ?

Your instincts are right. If you're not doing anything spammy, there's no reason why you can't verify GSC and use your own gmail account. However, I recommend creating fresh accounts for each website just as a precaution, in case one of your accounts get hacked or Google tries anything dodgy.
