    Hi guys,
I am just confused on the whole topic of predicting which key terms to go for as in which are over ambitious and which are pointless.
I have been using SEOMOZ and SerpIQ but they both conflict with each other quite alot. I check the terms out initially with Serp Attacks Pro.

Was wondering what other people do?

I use Ultimate Niche Finder by Clyde here! .. Not only is a good keyword finding tool, it also gives an indication of how hard the SEO competition is, ranging from very easy, to very hard!

I think Traffic Travis does this too, but UNF is worth the investment anyway

sometimes it just does not matter what tool you use, the absolute certainty of the data you need to "feel" right about a KW just does not exist and no tool is accurate enough have a beer and look again.

Also take a look at long tail pro. The creator has decent videos/articles to get you started when evaluating competition.
