Advice on how to break the top 5 spots.

I have an old site 11 years old. Lots of links coming in, add new content every couple days on the blog etc. Keywords are mostly on page 1, just not in the top 5.

I have been using SeNukeX and I have lots of tier 1 that have stuck for over 6 months.

Should I keep on nuking, or now try to nuke some of the Tier1's? I do nuke them now but not that hard. I was thinking of xrunner, or SB blasts to the tier 1's.

Just need some advice to get this page moving up!

First thing i would do is examine the people above you. Look at what they link to, who they are etc., and if you can buy, barter, or steal a link off their main site. I know it sounds crazy . . but I've done it before (bought links from guys who ranked #1/#2 for a keyword i wanted to hit.

I've stolen more links off ranking sites than i ever care to tell. E.g - Is a yt video in top 10 (great contact that owner. . buy a link in the desc.) , oh its wikipedia. . very carefully craft your site in as a resource. etc.

buying links. . maybe that guy that ranks #1 won't sell you shit. . but #6, #8 and #11 will, and #1 will sell you a small banner ad that you redirect through your domain and keep there for a long time even though the ad sucks. . . its all siphoning their power into you.

think like this a bit rather than just grab random links, high pr links etc. Those all help a lot . . but taking down other sites that rank in the same area and having them one way link into you. . . now that shows your top dog on that topic.
