Advice on handling Stripe dispute?

    Hi,

    any tips on how to handle Stripe disputes?

    The website is let's say something like BlackHat's marketplace and for being featured or getting some advantage over others you sign up for recurring membership. This is a small payment every 30 days.

    6 months ago I received a charge back for $3!!! plus Stripe took $25 for doing nothing as usuall - I lost

    Now I received a charge back again, two from the same person. Funny that he paid for 5 months and decided to charge back only 3rd and 5th - saying the transaction was not authorized which is BS...

    What should I do to win? I'm happy to issue refund - but this problem making type of customers don't even bother to email me

    Exactly. Stripe does very little in terms of fraud checks so using an external service for this is almost a must.

    But even then, you'll still end up with chargebacks, especially when operating in an industry like yours. Consider it a cost of doing business.
