Advice on Growing a Personal Account with FL?

Hey! Just wondering if any of you had any experience with growing a personal instagram account using FL? I'm not making it a niche, it's simply just any picture I feel like posting. Like for example, what's the best method for gaining followers and engagement (ex.FLC, like/follow by hashtag, etc.)? Or how do you increase engagement because right now it's pretty low? Just any advice that you can share about making a personal account, please let me know! Thank you so much!

I'd say do more likes than follows. When people follow you because you like their picture, it shows that they are more engaged with their accounts and will more likely interact with your content as well as compared to the people that follow countless people just to make more people follow them back.
