So I started a hosting Website where people can buy a hosting place (cPanel) and start there website
Now the issue here is although I'm pretty familiar with the technicality of running this sort of business

I have no idea how to market it and grow this project

if there is anyone that have some experience and can share some knowledge here for all of us to learn i would appreciate it :)

Thx in advance

Too saturated bud, unless you spend a lot; it will take some time to grow. Perhaps open a separate blog for your hosting site and post articles there, optimize it for low competitive keywords and build relevant backlinks.

It might help you get traffic to your blog and from there visitors will most likely give your hosting a try.

i was thinking more of Reddit ads considering the prices that I'm putting are pretty competitive with better specs than others

This is perhaps the best place to advertise such a service.

Hello,

There are multiple ways to advertise a Hosting service,
As mentioned by @Meerakat you should put a blog in place and write some good articles:
  • How-to articles
  • Best Hosting ...
You should run some ads on multiple platforms (FB, Google, Quora, Reddit...),
Also, you can focus on the local market, by contacting local businesses and offer a website creation service (Inc Hosting & Domain).

i agree with you too the Blog method can be good for long term as for facebook i don't think its good for hosting without a good budget but Quora and Reddit a actually Super cheap for the amount of traffic and exposure it can give

But it's harder to convert Quora & Reddit traffic unless you have a very good funnel.
You can also check LinkedIn.

If you can provide good prices then competitors and most importantly good support then u can start by either buying a jr vip and selling it here on BHW and maybe other forums or u can use that money to advertise on places like google ads , facebook etc. Do you have an LLC?

hmm that can be a good option actually

and no I don't have an LLC yet because I can't afford too and as for the support it should be good we are 3 people working on this and considering that we are just starting out it shouldn't be a lot of people to provide support to

as for the jr vip i don't know what are the prices nor the prior requirement that i need to have in order to buy or to post to the marketplace

it's a pretty straight forward offer to get the first month of hosting for X amount of money for a limited time only

Are u tight on the budget if u don't mind sharing your budget.

It's a pretty tight budget considering this project is out of our own pocket ( we are students ) it's 100$ that we can afford just to lose and it can increase based on the result we get on this project by another 100

I think for $100 you can't do much specially that there is a lot of competition in the hosting industry but can you actually make a good offer for new users that may join your site?

Yes i can guarantee 100% satisfaction and good pricing believe it or not hosting providers actually make people overpay for their hosting me and my friends running the calculation and i don't want to show what we are using but we can go as low as 1$/month for a hosting plan that can host unmetered date unmetered traffic for 1 website and do all this for every single client without a single lag or shut down for any of them We tested the limit and we have it as long as we don't go beyond that limit it's all good and if we do we increase capacity

and still be in profit ofc

I think u should either try youtube ads using suggested videos targeting the keywords u want and also contact some coupon sites to list your hosting site but u should create a coupon code. I think being creative it's going to allow u to not spend a lot of money and most important thing is to build an email list so u can market to thoes people. I will even go with giving something free for the users . What i mean is incentivize the users and just don't give up because hosting business is really a hard business to get into so best of luck and if u have more questions u can ask

Always set up LLC's they will save you a lot of money in the long run.

a Hosting site you say?

offer people free website design and just pay 'hosting costs' automate the shit out of it. stack em up rise them high make sure you hit that with CPA's (Continuous Payment Authoritys) put it at a price point where people 'forget about ti'

I never made a similar project, but as a normal user of the web, I kept in mind many hosting companies after reading one of their blog posts.
Hope this helps, even a little!

Search, learn and test! Things will get better :) :)
Good luck budd!

Thx for the feedback man i really didn't know that actually as im used to host stuff my self and not pay for hosting that's why i don't know a lot about marketing this

There are a lot of places where you can advertise for free your hosting packages and you also should do the same on social media. Both each week.
You should also start creating your mailing list. There are places where you can send 15000 messages to 5001 contacts per month for free.

Will you allow to send unmetered emails?

yes we do allow that kind of but there is a soft limit in order that we don't lag the server
