Advice on getting my site on first page? Tried everything

I have a site which I'll tell you what it is if you PM me with advice, which Ive tried to get ranked first page on Google but it hasn't ranked yet. Been trying for few weeks. Think I have a good few keywords, good niche articles with low competition, and good on page SEO. I've even tried using Crorkservice for 1001 backlinks and all I got were a couple comments on the site and a high bounce rate. Still not on first page when I search my keywords. This is my first site and my first try at this SEO thing, I was hoping to optimize for Adsense but no use if its not ranking. I rank on page 6 for one of the keywords but thats not good at all. I'm using Wordpress. Any advice? I can give you a link to the site and keywords if you can provide me with guidance on what you would do next.

If you can spend some money, try with one of the SEO packages in the Marketplace.

No offense to Crorkservice who I think is a member here but that service isn't going to do much, he offers that on fiverr. No fiverr gig is going to get you on page one of google.

There are some brilliant services in the BHW marketplace you should check out and I have seen numerous quality SEO providers on two popular freelancer websites, ODesk and Elance for very reasonable prices.

Its more about quality rather than quantity, stuff like 50,000 blog comments sounds great but the truth is they are spammy links created by bots.

Also, be patient. A few weeks isn't that long so stay motivated and keep learning. There are plenty of great guides on this forum to help you.

How old is it? You say you've been at it for a few weeks, these things take time, especially if you're not prepared to spend some money for a few services.. Also even if you do, if the site is new sometimes it takes a few months for it to reach a good ranking, just keep doing what you're doing and be patient.

You need to understand that if it was that simple, everyone's website would be on the first page of Google.

I would suggest you to keep reading more and more of BHW, look out for some services, check out their reviews and place your order! They might turn out to be even more profitable and useful than those you've tried in the past.

Be prepared to build more than just one site. There is some time randomness involved in all this. The truth is it going to take many tries to get it right and rank, but it's worth the effort.

It could take months. You're better off targeting multiple niches with multiple websites, and waiting for them all to begin ranking. Eggs, baskets, 'n all that.

Haha thanks guys. I wonder if the niche I chose is a bad idea. I hope not. I'll keep working on it though, I didn't buy that domain name and hosting for nothing.

You're gonna buy domains for nothing more than once. IM is about testing and testing, until you find a formula that works. That's the sad truth about this business.
