Hello all

I have a male enhancement site that has converted very well for me. I generated over $1,000 with just about 60 articles that I wrote at Ezine.

My site has got a PR 1 and is 5 months old. Since backlinks for this niche are hard to come by, I am considering buying backlinks from one of the various providers to boost my ranking.

I currently rank 190 out of 2.12 million results. The competition on page 1 is nothing to be really scared about as the number 1 ranked site is a PR 3. The number 2 rank is for an PR 4 Ezine that has over 2,300 that look like they have obviously been bought from random foreign sites.

I want to know if I can sign up for a backlink package and blast my way to the top or is my 5 month old site still too young and headed for the sandbox if I proceed.

Please let me know of your opinions. It will be very useful for me.

Try it and see for yourself.

Don't whatif yourself to death and just do it. That's the only way to see what works and doesn't, is to actually test it for youself, in your site projects.

As for opinions, those are a dime a dozen. I would suggest that you just up your seo game and spread your reach. You can get backlinks in ANY niche. You simply have to use a link wheel and with a little research, you can find all you need to know about jumping your backlinks as well as your pr posistions.

Check on those two topics: ' backlinks ' and ' pr '.

Plug them into the search bar, read and implement. As each site is unique, you have to find out what works for you. The threads on those techniques are a great place to start and hit the ground running.

Customize those techniques for your own niche and get it going.

Good luck with it.

2 million competition? I believe you could achieve excellent results (and I really mean that) in like 3-4 weeks

The only thing is focus on on-page optimization, there's the part where most people fail. Use meta-data, h-tags, sitemaps, canonical url-s etc

If you need someone to take care of all of these you know whom to PM :)

Thanks a lot, you have given me the motivation to go ahead and try it out. I have been a regular reader of this forum and have tried some of the techniques, both blackhat and whitehat.

For example, I tried the 33k Rapid indexer experiment with Scrapebox 2 weeks ago and didn't see any results from that.

I will however definitely aggressively try to rank my site now.

Thanks, I definitely will double check my on page SEO. Market samurai says mine is pretty good but I have just looked into title, h1 tag, meta tags etc. I am not sure I even know what a canonical URL is :-)

Something I am going to delve into right away.

Ezine is full of crap these days. All my articles were approved by "senior editors" there.

Create Web 2.0 properties with each unique content, don't interlink, and point them at your site. And oh yeah bookmark the properties very well.

Thanks, I have about 60 plus Ezine articles already approved and floating around. Can I do profile blasts and bookmarks to them instead of writing new web 2.0 properties or do they have to come from unique sources.?

Will appreciate your answer.

haha...Im in the same niche and starting to get some traffic. Ezine works good as long as you make unique articles. Congrats on your conversions, I havent seen anything yet.

Would definetely start bookmarking some sites and also create a youtube channel(good videos are hard to get) and point each video to ezine or back to your website.

The onpage stuff really isnt that hard, just have to take the time to do it with everypage/url you make. Its an easy habit to get into.

$1000 dollars in one month just on ezine? I've never made any profits in ezine at all other than getting my site to pr3. Hmmm maybe I should create more articles or do redirects.

Nah, too much of a hassle.

You could just use the Ezine plugin-automatically post articles.
