Hi everyone
I would like to ask you for advice for a business idea I have:
We were lucky enough to have a local producer, literally next door
This person produces natural, organic cosmetics with local medicinal herbs.
This manufacturer can manufacture ad hoc cosmetics according to the customer's needs (me in this case)
So much so that on his site he explicitly writes "production on behalf of third parties".
What business approach would you recommend?
The final idea, of course, is to sell in Private Label, the producer would take care of:
- the conception of the product and the choice of raw materials,
- lab analysis and tests,
- the product is brought into compliance with the CPNP notification (registration in the European cosmetics portal)
- finally to the preparation of the PIF (IT product safety document).
The manufacturer only has one online shop on its website and does not sell on amazon.
I initially thought of selling existing products of course. Should we seek authorization from the manufacturer to sell on Amazon?
(only for an ethical question of course since the product is not there.)
Then if there is potential, register our brand, create our packaging etc.
What kind of approach do you advise?
Thank you in advance.
