Hi folks

I had an ahrefs account for two years before i had to cancel recently for financial reasons, I recently signed up again for the $7 trial but it has since expired. Has anyone signed up multiple times for the trial account and not had there account terminated or banned? Will i need to use different details or can i just use the same details as before?

Cheers Guys

Why not go for a a group buy?
They cost around $10 for a whole month.
Good Luck!

A lot of people just keep paying for the trial of Ahrefs with a virtual credit card (vcc) and a different email each time.

I see, so a different email and card will work, thanks ;)

Someone told me the other day that group buys limit you to around 20 searches on Ahrefs.

You can use the trial and use different email addresses, there are several TUTs on here, I think @fasttrak may have produced one.

I left the group buy I was in because its not private.

Everyone else in my GB could see what I had been searching for and analysing.

I'm gonna go down the trial route from now on.

I use both Groupbuys and trial depending on my volume of work

Generally you can buy several VCC with long expiry dates from trustworthy marketplace sellers to have them "on stock" between trials.

But I also have the GB option just in case I want to do some search but my volume is not big enough to justify a $12 VCC (generally VCC cost around $4-5 + credit you need in this case $5+7 for the trial ~$12)

Also Ahrefs doesn't shut the trials exactly the 7th day so ultimately you can have a full month for $12 x 4 = $48 if you rotate the VCC enough (total savings of 50%)

The only problem, at least for me, is the hassle of having to do all the signup process, which ultimately takes at least 15 min per account, which means, a bare 1 hour that, over costs shall be also included in the process (so if your hour is $50 I doubt that doing this is worth at all).

The problem with Groupbuys is their inestability. Best GBs have an uptime of 80% worst will have at best a 30% uptime (i've monitored this for a good time day by day). It's difficult to find a trustworthy GB and the ones that work today, may start failing next month, so any recommendation about GB could be futile.

already one person in another thread claimed he is using it

I tried a couple of them and, even tho the service was ok, they limit the usage a lot!

Like 20-25 keywords per day, 15-25 site searches per day, no site audits, occasional downtimes, etc.

Personally, I prefer abusing the 7 days $7 trial. I´ve used it a couple of times and, it doesn´t have any daily limitation, and performance-wise is miles away.

Another way you can do is just get together with a couple of buddies and just share the account. Maybe using a VPN or Proxy to login to the account to avoid getting detected for sharing it.
Seopack.top this site I personally use.
I just visit that site and, when it comes to Ahrefs...
Ahrefs contains the limit of 10 searches per day
That´s the lowest daily limit I´ve seen among group buys

I´ve had a great experience with supremseo.

Ahrefs it´s $7.60 and this is their conditions when it comes to its usage...

Also, their customer support is top-notch!

Cheers!

Would totally agree with you. Supremeseo used to be best but recently I have shifted to proseotools . they have good support aswell plus the limitations are not that much unlike ahrefs. Give it a try. i have been using them for 3 months now and so far didn't had any issues
