Advice on adding languages to a WordPress site?

Sure, there are a bunch of plugins you can use to add extra languages to your site but my question is related to any experience or advice with translations?

I have 2 sites that really need translations and a plugin to make it all happen

I'm thinking that there might be a service that translates automatically and creates the HREF Lang URL

Anyone have experience or thoughts?

I have used WPML in the past. I have had a good experience with it. It is also one of the cost effective plugin as compared to its counterparts.

But how about the actual translation?

I guess I could use AI but then it might become a bit crap and watered down with a loss of keywords

I guess AI and then human to proof read could be the answer

However has anyone used an all-in-one package?

Bare in mind that your texts are being created for real users and with automated translation they my look not good. I would recommend you to edit texts after automated translators.

Depending on the language, but I used the google translation plugin and it works pretty well. The pro version has the link option.

I used Loco Translate plugin with extension it was working pretty fine for me.
