I've been a long time lurker on here, but haven't really gotten involved much yet (with the techniques or community.) I'm hoping to change that. I am trying to figure out where my skill sets might work best, and any advice or direction would be very appreciated.
I am very good at tracking down information, platforms, OSINT-type things, software, etc. This may not sound like much, but can be useful I think. For example, if I see a listing on something like Fivver I can usually think of several places I could find whatever it is free. I excessively hoard information and resources from the clearnet, darknet, forums, etc. I'm wanting to finally do something with the things I learn/collect, lol. I also have some programing, security, automation, and other basic computer skills. I also know a decent amount about staying anonymous. If you want to know a private tracker for food recipes, how many times your password has appeared in breaches, 7 blackhat forums, the best software that does X, and the cheapest way to buy some obscure cryptocurrency I have you covered... I just am not sure if I can make any of that profitable, lol.
I recently became jobless, so am looking for ways to bring in something, even if small. Eventually I can invest more and go further, but for now I don't have money to work with. Some ideas I have, but am not sure about the current profitability are below.
- Is there much/anything to be made from posting on Warez sites via ads/file hosts? I could fairly easily post many, many items (probably even automate) .
- Is digital arbitrage across sites like Fivver still profitable?
- Any potential with the many sites like Bitify or Open Bazarr?
- Anything left within blockchain/cryptocurrency arenas within my range? I've been toying with them since the beginning, but don't have a huge amount of skill. I can follow a solidity guide and make a smart contract, or modify an open source blockchain to produce a new one, but that's about it. As with most things, I tend to follow a very "jack of all trades, master of none" pattern.
- Is app re-skinning worth it? Or things like taking apps on iOS that aren't on Android, for example, and converting/re-skinning them for Android? I've wondered if there is any less explored space in less competitive areas like TV, Roku etc apps in a similar way.
