I ran across a torrent that claims 1,000,000 email addresses to Facebook users, I'd like to mass mail the list promoting my product/site. Does anyone have experience with this list or one similar, if so did you have any success? I'd be happy if just 1% used my services.
Advice needed regarding email list.

If its a real fancebook users email ID and you do good inbozing rate you will get more than 1% conversion. No one can say its successful unless they have the same database. Since you said you got it from torrent site, i doubt its heavily spammed.

if its floating around on the web and passed out as a torrent then its been hammered and you would be lucky to get anything from it.
Will cost you more in mailing fees than it would in the money you would make off it.
out of interest, what is your product/ site you are promoting?
I own a number of very large email databases and may have something in your niche?
