Advice needed: instagram follows

Hi,

I dont know exactly what to do. I doing mass follow, but the question is...when is good to place my url on the profile? When I start to follow people or after I'll have a decent amount of followers? I'm afraid if I'm waiting too much, I'l get banned without making any money...
The point is, I'm getting more followers if I don't have a url on my profile.

Hey there! I'm in the same position you are in with my relatively new Instagram account. It's hockey related and eventually I want to be able to run some affiliate links off of it and generate some profit. I think your best bet would be to gain a good follow base first and then start promoting/posting links. This way your followers think you're trying to share a useful link instead of just trying to get followers for the sole purpose of attracting them to your link.

As far as gaining followers goes, I would stick to the mass following. I know it's tedious, but it works incredibly well. Since my Instagram account is hockey related, I just look at who is following the official Instagram of the NHL and scroll down following all of them. The follow-back rate for me personally tends to vary between 30-45% which isn't bad at all.
