    Hi all,

We'd like to start an affiliate program that pays bloggers CPC to drive traffic to our new site. We'll be setting it up in house, not through an affiliate provider.

How much should we tell bloggers we're willing to pay CPC? Thing is, linking to our site will be beneficial to many blogs, as we provide a unique service that would help their readers....it's the kind of site these bloggers might just write about anyway. Totally relevant content.

My thought is to keep it simple....your blog drives traffic to us by any means (banner, sponsored links, feature) and we pay you per click. I'm thinking CPC should be somewhere in the $.50 range, but I really have no idea.

Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks for tolerating a newb!
    Matt

Conhoff, I think $0.50 is a very generous CPC offer! What is the product and where do I sign?

Ha. You've exposed my ignorance! Good to hear $.50 is high. The site is ClassFill. We're looking to pay for Chicago-area visitors only at this point, hence the affiliate program with local blogs.
