Advice needed for Scrapebox VPS/Server

I've never had a VPS or a server before so I need some advice.
My budget is $30-50 per month at the moment, because I need to see the "great" results before I want to spent more.

So my question to you, can you suggest a good VPS or a server in this price range which YOU are using?
Can you tell me something about the speed of the WP fast poster for example? At the moment, at my home PC, I'm getting about 250 posts per minute with about 40% success, so actually about 100 successful posts per minute.

Will I be able to run Sick Submitter at the same time?

godaddy is $36/month. i get about 1,000 posts a minute. success rate depends on how good your blog list is so that isn't really relative.

Will godaddy not ban your account when they find out you use their VPS for spam? Heard that volumedrive offer dedicated server for $50 / month and they allow scrape box. I think you should check it out.

Yeah I wonder the same. I don't want to risk my godaddy account because I have about 50 domains with them.

nam6643, most of the time my success rate is about the same each time I run the fast commenter. I let it run last 4 nights and each time it had about 120000 posts with about 50000 successful.

Use a specific and isolated resource for a server used for tools like sbox, sen, sick, etc. Don't mix it up with other parts of your business.

There are VPS providers who are okay with various things such as sbox and other automated tools. You can go one of three routes:

- check out their sites and read around on the bh oriented parts of the web about their attitudes toward such usage
- ask them directly
- or give one a try and if they shut you down, move to another one

volumedrive has been mentioned before and is pretty decent, there are others...you might want to check out the hosting forum here on bhw for some reviews and tips

volumedrive or forexvps work great for me. Crank up those threads baby. We maxin it out.
