    Hi folks,

My name is Robert, i'm running a anti piracy service that is charging 5 dollars a month for removal and monitoring. I'm using email marketing for almost 2 weeks and have send 500 mails to companies with proof of illegal copies and offer for subscribe to the service didn't receive a single sale. I will really appreciate every suggestions you folks have.

What kind of anti-piracy service for removal and monitoring can you offer for 5 bucks a month?
Oh... I get it, is this some sort of method where you upload that piracy material to your site, and you charge the client 5 dollars a month to remove it and keep it out the site you own.?

If you charge $5 per month, the client will probably assume you are giving them $5/month worth of service. I would split test different price points and see how that goes - IMO you are charging WAY too little.

Well we are going to automate the process very soon so 5 dollars per month is more than ok with us but your right, they may not get the business serious cause of the price. Also we don't upload illegal copies and than report them, we remove copies that are already on the web. Google "Microsoft Is Removing 800.000 Links Per Month" and you will see what i'm talking about. Also guys is do you have any suggestion on the marketing tactic?

Are you sure you don't have any spelling/grammar errors in those emails? Let a native speaker do proofreading on fiverr. Do you have a website where the potential clients can go to? Where did you find those email addresses? Who exactly is your target group? What exactly is written in your emails? I'm afraid that nobody can help you if you don't provide some more information.

Hi to all! I'm the other side of this business JV. Onother partner. The site is www.iguarp.com. It offers the detailed reports of all copies of pirated illegal copies to the software developers. To be honest, yeah, on the start as it seemed to me the homepage was enough confusing and with some unclear words and some mistakes. (I'm not an English native speaker, but I do speak the language well enough and the homepage made me that impression!) I didn't collaborate in the homepage composing at the start, but I did corrected at last thought. Anyway we started some sort of an email marketing campaign, scraping emails from the web directories and software developers own websites. We started sending enough well-written emails to the software developers from our hosting email adress marketing (at) iguatp.com and somehow my buddy found out that our emails are happen to end up in a junk folder of the clients mailboxes! My hosting support suggested to use smtp.gmail.com as a third-party outgoing server trying to avoid being considered our effortful emails as a spam, but it didn't solve the problem. The partner says that they got marked as a spam anyway ending up in a junk folder as well! So, first we need to get around of this problem. Secondly, we're just starting up and don't really know how to give to a business a good push up. We're just don't know of any effective marketing strategies besides email marketing and phone marketing (that will cost money obviously!). I'm trying to go ahead with the social media a bit, but it's not easy. I'm running out of ideas of what exactly should I post (yet regularly) on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Google+, Pinterest and Flickr!? So we would like your help guys as there are many experts and very experienced people here, so your very advice and any your suggestion will be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks to all, Eugeny
