    Hi

have to admit - i'm quite new to having my own servers.

I'm renting 3 server spaces in a very decent server room (included in the rent of the office).

Finally I have bought sweet 3 servers

Until now I have been renting out server (incl. admin suppport).

I want to transfer all my websites (... something 40+) to my new servers.

    Question:
Do I have to set up seperate DNS server or just use free nameservers provided domain resellers like godaddy ao?

For the moment i'm using one that is provided by my hosting provider.

    thank you in advance

    Hi

There are 2 options to manage the dns:

1st you can manage DNS on the same server where website is being hosted.
    and
2nd you can manage your dns from your domain control panel ....

both will give you a possibility to use your own name servers ....

Skype me if you need any more help .....and keep sharing the knowledge ...as BHW
