Hello, recently I have purchased 10 12 month XBL codes and listed them on eBay for $53 each. I have marked on the listing that the codes will be emailed to the buyer and not shipped. Today someone bought all 10 of the codes. Before sending the codes, I was checking out his ebay profile and noticed that the account was created in 2000. He had 38 feedback, all of it being buyer feedback. There was one weird thing however, all of his feedback was earned in the last week and given to him by other accounts with very low feedback.

I am afraid that once I send him the codes via email, he will charge back and say he did not receive them. Is this possible at all? Should I just refund him and re-list the codes and sell to individual buyers to reduce the risk of charge backs.

Always better safe than sorry. I would not take on someone wanting 10 at one time. Spread out the risk
and sell to people you trust. Study long study wrong bro.

Message him and inform him that you wish to physically mail them and give the option of refund. If he accepts write the codes down (or print them) and mail them. That would be the safest bet. If he was genuinely interested in the codes and not in ripping you off he might accept and it doesn't make you look like you are scanning him out.

I might add here are a few things to think about Exine.

    A. He would not buy your expensive listings just for feedback because they cost to much.
    B. Why did he buy cheap listings before just to get feedback and now bought and expensive item which is yours.

Always physically ship the item so you have a tracking number and yes pay for postage with a tracking number.
All said an done it seems risky based on the two points above.

Edit! Again would someone be dumb enough to only use a 2000 eBay account only for this petty crime? It is a priceless selling
account with great age and he is running some risk. Although stupidity is high. So watch your back.

Ok, thank you for the advice you guys. If I ship the codes to him with a tracking label, he still has a chance at winning the charge back right? Here is the message I have sent him this message.

    Dear aminah74,

Hello, I am sorry however because of the circumstances of your ebay and paypal account combined with the amount that you have purchased, I am going to have to ship the codes to you with a tracking label, or offer you a full refund. The shipping will be paid for by me, however no refund will be offered upon shipment. The other option is to be refunded in full.

Thank you and sorry for the inconvenience,

This exact same thing happened to me, the exact same amount and the same item, really weird... But, for me I had 2 separate listings for the xbox cards, 5 BIN on each listing.

I e-mailed both the accounts saying if they wanted the cards I would mail them to them. Ofcourse, I got the same exact response from both accounts, right then I knew something was up and just never sent them. A month later I got a message and they refunded the paypal and took the money out of my account, of course I never emailed the items.

But yeah, do not do it.

This right here is the perfect way to do it I think, USPS first class shipping is only $1.69 as long as ebay seeing theres a tracking number delivered youll be fine.

Just list them in the same category as the domain names.Or you can make a listing for $530 buy it now for a domain name. They will not be able to open a dispute because they are not covered.
They might not like it tho...just my 2c
