Advice from On Page SEO expert

Hi All,

Although my website is ranking #1 for more then 10 keywords (from low to extremely high competition) i need one more word to rank #1. It's ranking #2 now. Off page SEO is ok, i think a small trick in the On-page SEO will rank it #1.

The competition is extremely high, so all on page seo advice and tricks are more then welcom.

(euh, do not need standard advice about H1, page titels etc, i already now that)

real comp starts in first #3 results.
i am not a expert , but check the keyword density of your page.
(try to decrease / increase it and wait for some effect. there is a big guide written by a pink member *i forgot his name* )

try some social or some high pr links from related sites.

Add a killer title and right meta description to get better ctr in search engines. With proper usage of these two factors your website's On site seo will be quite good and a balancing off page seo will take you to the top.

What type of advice were you hoping to get, then? On page SEO really is pretty simple.

Try some of these tips:

1. Make sure you have all the social media buttons on the website.

2. Make sure you have Schema markup for your business info (name, address etc)

3. Make sure you have the updated title tag length (its now 55 characters)

4. Make sure your website is optimized for speed and is scoring at least a 90/100 for the Google site speed test (desktop and mobile).

5. Make sure your website has a responsive mobile framework. If its a separate mobile website, make sure you have the rel-Alternative and rel-canonical tags on each of the separate websites. Read up on this.

6. Make sure your internal linking is air tight.

7. Make use of a virtual or regular silo structure. Point all your internal blog articles to the pages you want to rank for.

8. Build some social signs and some quality backlinks

9. Make sure you have 0 duplicate URL extensions (.php, .asp etc)

This was the advice i wass looking for thanks a lot man!

No but seriously, the difference between #2 and #1 are links, not your on-site optimization (which sounds like you already squeezed all the juice out of).
