OK,

I've looked over these forums and others for quite some time now and I'm geared up to start a project as a sideline to trying to build my freelance pipeline. My question is, in your opinion, what's best to target for earnings at the moment, affiliate marketing, ppc? All comments and opinions welcome.

Create something.

Write articles, design graphics, code pages.

Get those funds coming in, and then invest slowly in long-term assets (servers, domains registered for multiple years, software you know you need.

This builds a solid foundation that is self-sustaining, can be scaled up, and serves as a platform for your other projects.

This is how I started. It wasn't terribly fast-paced, but I also could have worked harder. If you think you can succeed with an affiliate program or more risky investment plan, do it. Many fortunes are built and lost in a lifetime, so don't worry too much if you're young and eager.

It depends on what kind of content you are going to offer. Like, you can always look at PPD

I would say the most proven(and least technical, especially for someone starting out) is simply adsense/amazon affiliate sites. Find a niche, do keyword research, and get some quality content. The beauty of this method is there is almost no cost, besides for the domain and hosting.

Good Luck!
