I am going to proactively create an fake driver's license id in case Facebook ask for a id verification of my facebook ad account that is not in my real name.

Should I use a persona that is completely different form me in terms of age, gender, race and or geographical region. Or should I create a persona near to my real life information.

I am leaning towards the latter since creating a person similar to me in real life would make it easier to keep up the subterfuge.

Also, I read that facebook uses face recognition technology. How concerned should i be since there will be using a fake picture on the fake drivers license.

Will Facebook ask me to send in a picture of me holding my id? That would make things complicated and alot harder to fake if my chosen person is completely different from me.

Anyways, the tentative plan is to photoshop a picture of a composite image, Frankensteined from head shots of people with the same gender and ethnicity as me.

I may add in eyeglasses, beard, and dreadlocks. That should beat any face recognition.

Well, AM not into Facebook that much, but i know one thing. FB always asked for verification after running ads with different accounts. As for me, you better create an account in your name, and an ID to go with it.

Actually I was toying about this idea for the pass 2 days. The risk of making fake IDs be it for fb or criminal activities is going to be the same punishment in the eyes of the law. As I mentioned in my other post, I'm relocated to a tier 3 country. The risk for me is low at making US IDs if I were to disposed it immediately.

I was thinking maybe I can team up with a chap in BHW with graphics skills and start providing services in BHW. He will do up the graphics and I will print the IDs snap a few pic send to customer and destroy the ID. I would like to know if anyone interested to partner up and how much is people willing to pay for it?
How big is the customer pool? Not worth the risk if it's only 100+ orders.

I'm willing to invest 1k in this project and my partner pays nothing more than his skill in graphics. I think the costing should be lower than $5 per pcs but I'm not willing to do it below 100% profit since I need to share with my partner.
BTW, it's just an idea and nothing more at this point.

I refuse to get involved with Facebook under my real name, under any circumstance. If push comes to shove I'd rather not advertise on Facebook at all than use my own name.

Same here, I wouldn't dream of uploading proof of ID to a social networking website. Which we mustn't forget, is all Facebook is.

My "crime" was that I only use my first name, my real first name though. And entered it twice. Then some d1ckhead reported me.

when Facebook requires documents? I never seen this before
Not only do they demand that, you also cannot log in at all before you do so. Hence, you cannot even delete you FB account. And you will never find out who reported you.

When you create the persona everything has to go in that direction,. The crux of it is your creating a fake account, so all the documents your create have to go in that direction. Dont use your personal shit, EVER.

None of the shit you create has to be about you, get your head of doing the right thing because essentially your gaming a platform for your own personal gains. So think BLACKHAT as that the field your in.

With the way Zuck is carrying on with securing his empire, I'm afraid soon he'll start asking us the color of our boxers, and thereafter ask for proof that we actually own them.

That's not an unfair assumption.

One assumes that being 113 years old, born in Happyland, Vanuata, living in Happy Valley, Singapore, being gender neutral with prefered pronomin 'they', born 1st of January, disabling Platforms and only logging in using Firefox with add-ons does not help ones case. Zuck wasn't really able to sell much reliable data with me as a participant, was he?

Oh, the irony of being reported for using a fake name when that at least wasn't!

The most insulting thing about them to ask you for government ID (happened to me) is that you're submitting it to a ROBOT to review, and at best, some farmed out human drone in a third world country. They don't care about you, your identity's saftey, or anything other than their bottom dollar and their money harvesting machine working smoothly. It's not like you're showing your ID to a potential room mate or land lord, this is a robot that harvests it for their own benefit (verifying the info they are harvesting from you is legit, so they can better sell ads). So, so annoying. Even DropBox, iTunes, Gmail, or almost any other online service/site has the nerve to ask (demand/hold your connections randsom) for this info.

"...Even DropBox, iTunes, Gmail..." They do? :(

"It's not like you're showing your ID to a potential room mate or land lord..." Exactly! Or tax authorities, etc.
