Hi All,

I am very new to web hosting etc. I just have a few ideas i want to try out. Can anyone advise me on the best way to buy a domain name and hosting anomalously.

Is it also possible to put fake name address to show up if someone does a who is search?

You can be anonymous either by putting up fake info or purchasing the option to be anonymous through the domain registrar you buy the domain through (I choose the former normally). If you're really worried, just pay the extra few bucks and privately register the domain, it will be one of the options given to you before the sale is final if you use a site like GoDaddy.

Thanks for the info. But I would still be traceable via my cc, right?

You could use a virtual credit card.

You can pretty much always be traced online.
