Hey guys.
I got a question about the legal issues for a website.
It will be a website where people can purchase and download vehicle manuals. I know it will sell but i`m asking what kind of maybe legal issues i might be facing with something like this.
For example i will post a "product" with the vehicle manual for a car named "xx".
Any ideas of possible/if any legal, copyright issueS?

since you can download the manuals for free i'm not sure why this will be an issue...

I seen a few websites doing this a couple years ago. Same goes with websites offering court documents for a price even though you can get them for free. Just charge for the service of providing the manual with ease instead of charging per the manual. Don't know if it makes sense to you :)

Matthew Lesko does something similar with his books; he just takes free government pamphlets and turns them into books. In case you're wondering who Matthew Lesko is, here's a picture of him.

Manuals are free to download from the manufacturers site so as long as you don't alter it and give credits to them, it should not be a problem.

Will it be a problem using the brands images/logos maybe then on the website ?
