Advice: Business Card Scanner App

Through some work I have been doing for a customer, I have come across a need for a quality mobile business card scanner app that connects directly to a CRM platform. I know some of the largest CRM platforms have options, but a lot of the small-mid sized ones do not. Most give inconsistent results and they all charge ( what I would consider) crazy amounts for scans.

I have some ideas for additional features to differentiate and the ability to have this created rather quickly, but before I go further I am wondering if anyone else has seen a need for this? To me and my customer it feels like a necessity for any door to door / in-person sales teams.

Very curious to hear opinions and thoughts on this as I am fairly new to this space.
