Hello everyone,

I'm just editing a new layout for a gaming website (the company I'm collaborating with) where I want to show our games, magazine, and assets.

In particular, I would to like to have your opinion about how to improve the website and make it more impactful and converting.

It is still under dev.

Please let me know what would you improve about it: https://kstormstudio.com

I would really appreciate your advice. Thank you so much in advance!

check out the websites of your competitors (those that you know are doing well) for inspiration. When in doubt, always mimic the successful sites.

Also, you should probably slow down / do away with the popups, after each click or pageview on your website I got bombarded with the popup :)

Hi,

It took a few seconds to load your website. There is so much room to increase the loading speed of your website.
I would recommend switching to a more lightweight theme, such as PlayerX:

thank you so much! (I dont know what competitor to take as example :) )

Could you please tell me which page shows a lot of popup please? Cause it also shows 2 popups twice, otherwise please let me know

many thanks in advance

thanks, theme is TwentyTwenty with WProcket and Performance matter too.

I think at the moment because of the editing I have to clear the cache and rebuild it. Ill do it once the website will be finished and ready :)

thanks :)

At first glance, the color scheme threw me off for a gaming website. Maybe that’s just me though.

Secondly, your page, for me, took 6.5s to load. That’s quite long. You may want to consider a few speed plugins & an image size resizer.

When I ran your site through pingdom, it says you have a 1.60s load time, but that’s incorrect. I did this from multiple locations around the globe. https://tools.pingdom.com/#63bb6a1958000000

Also, please use the quote feature when responding to multiple members: https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/how-to-use-the-multiquote-feature-on-bhw.975670/

Thanks man,

im usinf WProcket and performance matter but because of the hard editing during these days I have to clear the cache and rebuild it. Once done will be faster again.

Color scheme apart cause it must fit the company brand, does it look nice for you? I mean its still under dev, but how is your first mood?

Those were/are both good for some time. Though, if you keep having issues with speed, you may want to have a developer take insight as to why.

You don’t want to lose visitors because of speed.

It’s showing a black, pink, and purplish color on my end. Was that what you were going for? Also, I believe @tazarbm was referencing the pop up that asks for an email to join the newsletter.

The newsletter popup comes up after you close the privacy settings pop up.

For finding the best answer about your website

Gi to the pagespeed.web.dev and you will know everything about that.

I notice some speed and lag issue, according to me you should also focus on the color aspect as a whole

ok thanks, colors should be in alignment with the company brand.

how would you improve colors? What you don't like about the color scheme?

hmm, there's no popup anymore, either you've fixed it or it was a bug, it's all good now :)

You might also want to consider gaming websites that are shared on Reddit.

You might want to share your link there for public critique.

The great thing about Reddit is that it has many different verticals of actual users and niche audiences.

Here you're going to get mostly marketers and website designers.

But our feedback can only go so far.

At the end of the day, your website has to appeal to end users.

When it comes to getting an accurate pulse on end-user opinions, Reddit is the place to go.

Hello!

It looks great, but I would add an indent from the header, it’s too tight (especially on the K-community page) and add a loading icon on some pages, there is not enough smoothness when loading page elements.

Good luck, man!

thanks, fine but Reddit often is so annoying, get banned if you post website links... of course they pay people to ban others cause they force you to pay for ADS.! Fine! I tried using reddit ads with no result!
However, I'll try to post on dedicated subreddits

Thank you soooo much!! Really appreciate your advice.
The forum yes, needs more CSS coding and more design and more members too ! :)

Nice to know that it looks nice, now I just wanna start promotion...

Improve on some of the graphics on the products pages. You've stacked many photos of poor quality.

It does not look great. It looks like an amateur site built with a template.

You add too much stuff and seem to use all the design elements offered by the page builder just to make it look fancy.

This makes your site too heavy and slow.

I can sense you are abusing all the Elementor design widgets without even looking at your source code.

Too many design elements are not a good design. Look at your competitors to gain some design ideas.

Either remove all those unnecessary elements or switch to another theme/page builder.

oh, by "amateur site" I don't mean your content is amateur. I don't know your niche.
Amateur means your design is .... keep adding fancy-looking-stuff like sliders and such, which are abandoned by modern designers for a long time, unless you are a corp site.

ok, but other gaming companies tends to have a lot of graphical assets on page and widget too. Could you please show me an example of website you like it? No matter the industry or niche, just to have a look at
