I feel like there is just so few posts from actual users, and just a lot of colourful ads. I know that's how this website gets money, but damn, it's excessive. Is it just me?

Yes, there are hundreds of posts each day, and if you look from when the site was created, there are thousands of posts that have helped so many people make money and to be able to quit their 9-5. If you only knew the server costs, maintaining staff, hosting, plugins, bug fixes, etc., there are a few banners here, but there are not many.
