Advertising method

Hey,

I have no idea why im posting a idea that came in my mind around 3minutes ago.
Don't know if this method of advertising will work. Either in a positive or negative way.

The idea came from what another forum I know is doing:

Basically they are giving out rewards to people who put up a video on youtube, if they upload a video, that say's Hackforums.net Rulez the univers hand written or something. The reward is a simple YT logo under your username.

So much video's about them, thats like using a huge board to spam youtube, with 100% unique content!

If you can make this, but than more radical.
Like, let them go outside, paint it on walls etc, or do more crazy stuff, for the website.
Make a better reward, maybe money if you have the money to invest.

And your website will have its name all over, youtube, maybe other websites, and even IRL!
This will work best in a teenager related niche. But the idea is so good!

Yes, this is a great promotion method. Fribiz has used it in the past. They gave you free frbiz (virtual currency, similar to ptz) if you would post a video in Youtube about them.
Or CPA Lead. They paid you for your testimonial. It was a huge increase in their traffic.

well, what were you expecting. not exactly a breakthrough, since it has been working for such a long time. check this out

and have a look at their alexa ranking they was having bad alexa for past7day and yesterday their alexa have improved alot http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/hackforums.net

so i guess this way is really working but really need a good concept and reward
and wonder will youtube do any action seem suddenly having so much pple scamming their site
